It has to be. That’s why you see dumb shit like that Keynes-Hayek rap battle or whatever. If they hijack the discourse and frame it as Keynesians vs. Austrians, then it makes it seem like there’s a legitimate dichotomy between the two, rather than the actual state of affairs. They have strong incentives for people not to understand how economic thought actually works.
