“The biggest deterrent to an energy plan in America is Koch Industries,” he says. “They do not want an energy plan for America because they have the cheapest natural gas price they’ve ever had, and they’re in the fertilizer business and they’re in the chemical business. So their margins are huge. And they do not want you to have an energy plan, because if you had a plan, then natural gas prices would come up.”

  • Boone has been on a spectacular losing streak for the past couple of years. I don’t blame him for being bitter and lashing out irrationally. First it was wind power, now natural gas. Little did I realize the Koch brothers wielded so much influence over the administration that they forced the DOE to make all those bone-headed investments and tied the hands of the EPA from crippling the oil and gas industries. Maybe it is time for regime change.
