So, poverty goes down in (mercantilist) China, and poverty goes up in (neoliberal) most everywhere else?

This is a big deal to most.  Not to the rich and powerful of course, or to their paid shills like Russ Roberts, Tyler Cowen and Don Boudreaux.

What is behind the data that shows those in poverty outside China increasing in most regions from 1981 to 2005?
